The Secret Life Of Walter Mitty is filming in the neighborhood today, taking up a pretty large swath of the UWS. I’m not sure who’s on the set, but the cast includes Ben Stiller (he’s also directing), Kristen Wiig, Sean Penn, Josh Charles, Patton Oswalt, and Shirley MacLaine to name a few.

Good news if you’re a fan of free ice cream — Häagen-Dazs is running their annual “Free Cone Day” promotion tomorrow (Tuesday, 5/8/12).
