If you’re looking to exercise your green thumb, the West 75th Street Block Association is holding their annual Planting Day on Saturday (5/18). Projects will take place on W. 75th between Columbus and Central Park West, from 1:00 – 4:00 pm.

ROW BOAT FAIL: Couple Falls Into Central Park Lake, Drawing Large Rescue Response

Well this must have been more than a little embarrassing… A couple fell out of a row boat and into the Central Park lake yesterday afternoon, drawing a rather large FDNY and NYPD response, including helicopters, to the scene.
