Well this must have been more than a little embarrassing… A couple fell out of a row boat and into the Central Park lake yesterday afternoon, drawing a rather large FDNY and NYPD response, including helicopters, to the scene.

It’s miserable outside right now but the forecast this weekend looks pretty good — 55 to 60 degrees with a fair amount of sun. Perfect timing for the West Side Community Garden’s annual tulip festival, which takes place tomorrow (4/13) and Sunday (4/14), as well as next weekend (4/20 & 4/21).
