Well here’s a MUW first: I’m writing this at 35,000 feet, en route to Florida for a friend’s wedding. I think I’m freaking out the woman sitting next to me, because for the past 10 minutes I’ve been Googling terms like “sodomy,” “sex offender,”  and “child rapist,” as it pertains to this post.

Wanted to post this yesterday but unexpected travels got in the way (I’m out of the country at the moment). If you’re looking to explore the neighborhood this weekend, there’s a free walking tour tomorrow (Saturday) starting at 11:00 am.

UPDATE 8:30 pm — UWS Openings: Alamo Drafthouse = All Kinds Of Awesome Pretty exciting UWS news broke a little earlier today: The long-vacant Metro Theater (2626 Broadway, between 99th & 100th) is being reborn as an Alamo Drafthouse, a fantastic cinema chain based out of Austin, TX.
