The national real estate market may be struggling, but apparently high-end townhouses on the Upper West Side are doing just fine.
The neighborhood is seeing an “unprecedented” rise in townhouses with asking prices over $10 million.

This week’s “unattainable” apartment is a fantastic 4,200+ sf duplex at 1 Central Park West (the large, black-glass Trump International building at Columbus Circle).
The apartment, located on the 49th & 50th floors and featuring panoramic city and river views, is the only duplex at 1 CPW.

Zoning law
Posted over the summer about a proposed change to zoning laws on the Upper West Side aimed at curbing the proliferation of banks and big-box retailers.
If you’re interested in learning more or expressing your opinions on the matter, there’s a big Community Board 7 public hearing taking place tonight to discuss the proposal.
