Looking for something to do this Labor Day Weekend that is outside, fun, and unique? If you haven’t yet gotten the chance to try Riverside Park’s free kayaking event, this will be a great weekend for it. Kayaking on the Hudson is a free event held each Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm, weather permitting. Head out to Riverside Park at 72nd and the Hudson River with your swimsuit or shorts and a t-shirt, and the Downtown Boathouse will provide the rest, including life jackets, kayaks, paddles, and kayaking tips. The 20-minute instructional paddles only require that you know how to swim in advance.
