It looks like the Zabar’s lobsterless “lobster salad” has yet another new name. As mentioned a couple of weeks ago, the landmark UWS store succumbed to pressure and  re-branded their “lobster salad”  as “seafare salad” after it was pointed out that it contained, you know… no lobster.

Apparently “seafare salad” was just a temporary placeholder and they have since settled on “Zabster Zalad.” Frankly, I think it has a nice ring to it.

Hopefully this is the end of the Lobstergate saga.
