Apologies for the short-notice, but I just saw this. The 75th Street Lululemon Athletica is teaming up with the new UWS Flywheel spinning studio to offer a free class today, Saturday 1/12. It starts at 2:30 pm and is first-come, first-served.

Looks like the new UWS Lululemon that recently opened at 2139 Broadway (at 75th) isn’t making any friends with its neighbors. Apparently the store has pissed off a local UWS block association by not providing any freebies for an upcoming block party.

If you live in the southern part of the Upper West Side and are jealous of the Baked By Melissa that opened at 2325 Broadway (between 84th & 85th) in October, you can now rest easy — you’re getting one a bit closer to home.

A mystery opening of sorts is slated for the ground floor of the Beacon Hotel at 2130 Broadway (between 74th & 75th). As you can see from the sign above (thanks to MUW reader @dzoldan), a liquor license has been filed under the completely uninformative name of “Beacon Operating LLC.”
