ROW BOAT FAIL: Couple Falls Into Central Park Lake, Drawing Large Rescue Response

Well this must have been more than a little embarrassing… A couple fell out of a row boat and into the Central Park lake yesterday afternoon, drawing a rather large FDNY and NYPD response, including helicopters, to the scene.

The hits keep on coming for embattled Central Park Boathouse operator Dean Poll. After a surprise walk-out earlier this month (including a row boat siege on the landmark), employees are now accusing the restaurant of serving filtered tap water, disguised as bottled water, for $8 a pop.
