Annual Central Park Film Festival Starts Tonight (Thursday, 8/22); Five Nights Of Free Outdoor Movies

The rain is gone and the sky is getting sunny just in time… Tonight (Thursday, 8/22) marks the start of the the 11th annual Central Park Conservancy Film Festival. There will be free screenings in the park, under the stars, for the next five nights (through Monday, 8/26).

Attention dog owners — this month’s Bark Before Dark event in Central Park takes place tomorrow night (Thursday, 6/6). There will be a free workshop on dog behavioral issues, as well as light refreshments.

SATURDAY 5/18: Free “On A Wing Festival” In Central Park

One more event of note tomorrow (Saturday, 5/18): The Central Park Conservancy is holding their free annual On A Wing Festival. Activities include interacting with various birds of prey, bird shows, and bird walks.
