Looks like there’s some pre-opening action at the former Roam Boutique space at 488 Amsterdam (between 83rd & 84th). Roam closed earlier this year after seven years in the neighborhood.

If you’re the kind of person who just can’t get enough Chase branches, you’re in a luck! A new one is coming to Columbus Avenue.

I’m still trying to track down details, but apparently someone robbed the Chase bank at 2875 Broadway (at 112th) yesterday afternoon, just five blocks south of where President Obama gave a commencement speech at Barnard.

Do you bank at the Chase at 2438 Broadway (corner of 90th)? If so, you might want to consider a different location. That particular branch been targeted by robbers three times since June.
