UWS The new Brooks Brothers (2381 Broadway, between 87th & 88th), first mentioned back in November, officially opened last week. They were aiming to be open by February and their signage had said “Spring 2012,” so if you split the difference it appears they were able to meet their goals.

WiNK MUW readers Gaby, Andrew, and Tyler send word that UWS women’s clothing retailer WiNK has closed their location at 188 Columbus (between 68th & 69th) for renovations. Hopefully these are “real” renovations, and not the fake kind stores put up signs for before permanently closing.
