Boulud Sud, Chef Daniel Boulud’s latest restaurant, has been racking up near universal praise since it opened on the UWS at 20 West 64th last May. Now here’s some more: Sam Sifton of the New York Times recently listed it as #2 on his list 2011′s top ten new restaurants.

The Village Voice recently published their annual “Best Of NYC” list and the Upper West Side is pretty well represented. Like any “Best…” list, I’m sure not everyone will agree with the choices. Still, I’d rather have these ten than none.

Looking for an Upper West Side foodie date for that won’t break the bank? Eater just put out a list of five “Cheap-Ass Foodie Dates” — a drink, dinner, and dessert for about $20/person — and one of them involves three UWS locales.
