Thought I had posted this last month but apparently it got lost in the shuffle: DSW is moving into the old Filene’s Basement space at 2222 Broadway (corner of 79th).

Looks like the Syms/Filene’s Basement liquidation sale is officially on its last legs. While it was originally supposed to to run through January, it now appears tomorrow (Thursday, 12/29) will be their last day. Looks like we’re heading into the final days of the Syms & Filene’s Basement liquidation sale. It was supposed to run through January, but a sign that went up last night indicates there are only 10 days left. The store has expanded holiday hours from now through 12/24:

Vive la Upper West Side! The photo is just a tad blurry, but that’s the new UWS Vive la Crepe that was first mentioned back in September. MUW readers Gabby, Andrew & Tyler sent in word that they opened on Sunday.

Well that didn’t take long… It was just the other day that Syms & Filene’s Basement raised their liquidation sale discounts to 30% – 50%. As of yesterday, they’re now up offering 40% – 60% off. At this rate, things might actually be free by next week.
