Tomorrow is the the 7th Annual Make Music New York Festival, a city-wide event that includes over 1,000 free concerts throughout the day. The Upper West Side will get its fair share of performances — nearly 60 are scheduled throughout the neighborhood — starting at 10 am and running through the evening.

Sing For Hope, the popular art installation of “pop-up” pianos that allows anyone to sit down and play music, returns to New York City for a 16-day run starting this weekend. From 6/1 to 6/16 there will be 88 pianos located throughout NYC, with eight here on the Upper West Side.
