Found this video while looking for photos of the recent free New York Philharmonic concert in Central Park. It was posted on the Philharmonic’s Facebook page, with the following note:

The New York Philharmonic held a concert in Central Park last night, followed by a small fireworks show. I snapped the shots above and below from my roof — you can see the towers of the San Remo in the foreground.

A quick reminder for those who either weren’t able to make Friday’s performance or simply can’t get enough: Tonight is the second (and final) free New York Philharmonic concert and fireworks show in Central Park.

Posted a “Save The Date” back in May and now it’s finally upon us: After a hiatus in 2011, the free New York Philharmonic “Concerts In The Parks” series returns to Central Park tomorrow night (Friday, 7/13). The music will be followed by a fireworks show.

Mentioned this on Friday, but here’s a reminder: The New York Philharmonic is performing their 21st annual free Memorial Day concert this evening on the Upper West Side.

Memorial Day is nearly upon is, which means the official start to summer is almost here. Wanted to give a quick heads-up about the dates for this year’s always-popular free New York Philharmonic concerts in Central Park.
