Posted back in February that Talbot’s (2289 Broadway, between 82nd & 83rd) gave up half its space due to sagging sales. At the time, rumors were circulating that Harry’s Shoes, located next door at 2299 Broadway, would expand and take over the space. Looks like that’s exactly what’s happening.

Looks like there’s finally some action brewing in the former 90 Nuts space at 2442 Broadway (near 90th), which has been vacant for awhile.

Apologies for the lack of posts today — I’ve been in transit most of the day for an unexpected last-minute trip. I’m sitting in George Bush International Airport in Houston at the moment. Still, “Openings” must go on!

Looks like the UWS is getting a new cafe. Piccolo Cafe (313 Amsterdam, between 74th & 75th) is on the verge of opening.

Posted last week that the long-awaited Fratelli la Bufala at 2161 Broadway (corner of 76th) finally opened on Friday. I’m a bit late on my follow-up, but here’s a copy of the menu, some photos, and a few initial thoughts.
