You may have heard this elsewhere last week as I’m playing a bit of catch-up on this, but let’s file it under “better late than never” (especially since it’s not happening for three months). The Macy’s 4th Of July fireworks are returning to the Hudson River for the fourth year in a row.

If you happened to be strolling along the Hudson River yesterday morning, you may have noticed two F/A-18 Hornets screaming through the sky. Rest assured, we weren’t under attack. The planes were practicing for a commemoration of the War of 1812 during this year’s Fleet Week celebration in May.
