Mentioned back in September that half of Avventura (461-463 Amsterdam, between 82nd & 83rd) closed. The 463 Amsterdam half of Avventura is still open, and now we know what’s coming to the empty half at 461 Amsterdam.

The Arts Of Shaving outpost at 2151 Broadway, first mentioned way back in January (between 75th & 76th), is finally open for business. The storefront had been plastered with an “Opening Soon” banner for close to three months. (Thanks to readers Ashely & Doug for the tip).

It’s been almost exactly a year since news first broke that the Barnes & Noble at 66th & Broadway was closing and would be replaced by clothing store Century 21. To celebrate that anniversary of sorts, the store now has an official opening date.
