New UWS Century 21 Opens A Day Early

If you couldn’t stand waiting one more day for the official opening of the new UWS Century 21 (Braodway & 66th), the feeling was apparently mutual — the store opened today, one day earlier than planned.

Upper West Side Openings: Tumi & Thai Nam

The Real Deal is reporting that Tumi has signed a lease for 1,000 sf at the Apthorp (Broadway, between 78th & 79th) and is targeting a fall opening. Thanks to @UWSn8 for the tip.
Little known fact: “Tumi” comes from the Latin word for “overpriced.”
