Tomorrow night marks the 37th Annual Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks Show, which will once again take place along the Hudson River. The official start time for the show is 9:00 pm, although it generally tends to be closer to 9:20ish. The fireworks run approximately 25 minutes.
Tomorrow is the the 7th Annual Make Music New York Festival, a city-wide event that includes over 1,000 free concerts throughout the day. The Upper West Side will get its fair share of performances — nearly 60 are scheduled throughout the neighborhood — starting at 10 am and running through the evening.

Sing For Hope, the popular art installation of “pop-up” pianos that allows anyone to sit down and play music, returns to New York City for a 16-day run starting this weekend. From 6/1 to 6/16 there will be 88 pianos located throughout NYC, with eight here on the Upper West Side.

The 70th Anniversary of the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising will be commemorated in Riverside Park tomorrow afternoon (Friday, 4/19). The event takes place from 12:30 to 2:30 pm at the Warsaw Ghetto Memorial (inside the park at 83rd Street).
