A 35-year-old woman was allegedly the victim of a sexual assault early Saturday morning in Central Park. The incident took place in almost the exact same spot where a woman was stabbed and three police officers were hurt earlier this month, although the crimes are unrelated.

It’s been almost three weeks since a 16-year-old pizza delivery boy allegedly raped a woman in her Upper West Side apartment while her 7-year-old daughter slept beside her. Today, the 35-year-old victim is filing suit against a variety of parties involved, seeking an unspecified amount of money.

Multiple news outlets are reporting that the NYPD has finally made an arrest in the case of the “Serial Groper.” While most of the incidents connected to the case took place on the Upper East Side, the most recent assault occurred in Central Park, near CPW, this past Friday.

A man suspected in numerous sexual attacks on the East Side appears to be making his way west. Police report that the an attack on a women in Central Park yesterday was likely committed by the Upper East Side “Serial Groper.”
