Posted in December (here & here) that the Subway Sandwich shop at 2595 Broadway (between 97th & 98th) closed rather suddenly with no explanation. Looks like they were bought out by the Westside Market slated to open next door at 2589 Broadway.

Well that was fast! Slightly Oliver (511 Amsterdam, between 84th & 85th) went from “Coming Soon” to “Open” in less than 10 days. They had a soft-opening for friends and family last night night and are officially open for business starting today (thanks to MUW readers Johnny Scats & Mark).
