The national real estate market may be struggling, but apparently high-end townhouses on the Upper West Side are doing just fine. The neighborhood is seeing an “unprecedented” rise in townhouses with asking prices over $10 million.

This week’s “unattainable” apartment is a brownstone located at 12 West 83rd. Newly renovated and located just steps from Central Park on a tree-lined street, it features 5 BR, 4.5 BA, a terrace, private backyard, and massive storage space.

This week’s unattainable apartment is an absolutely ridiculous townhouse located at 116 West 71st. With 6 bedrooms, 11 bathrooms, 10 wood burning fireplaces, a terrace, 2 balconies, a sauna, 500-bottle wine cellar, and a commercial grade elevator, this 8,200 sq ft townhouse might just be the nicest I’ve ever seen.
