Another day, another Upper West Side Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf update (with plenty of non-Coffee Bean stuff too). Thanks to MUW reader Chari’s photo above, we now have some concrete evidence they plan to open a location at 79th & Columbus.

Mentioned back in September that half of Avventura (461-463 Amsterdam, between 82nd & 83rd) closed. The 463 Amsterdam half of Avventura is still open, and now we know what’s coming to the empty half at 461 Amsterdam.

According to MUW reader (and kindergarten classmate) Jessica, the Blossom Du Jour at 165 Amsterdam (between 67th & 68th) had their official grand opening yesterday. First mentioned in May, BDJ had been targeting a September 9th opening. Compared to other places in the neighborhood, being only a month behind schedule is actually pretty good!

Meant to post this last week, but I think I was so subconsciously disheartened that I couldn’t bring myself to it… The recent relocating of Hale & Hearty Soup and Pricewise has left two empty storefronts on Broadway, between 81st & 82nd.
