Beer lovers rejoice — you have a new mecca on the Upper West Side. MUW reader Jillian (photo above) reports that “On Tap” at the Columbus Circle/Time Warner Center Whole Foods is now open. To be clear, this isn’t just a fancy retail beer shop. It’s a full-blown bar (with wine too) inside Whole Foods [...]

Slightly short notice, but this just came to my attention (thanks to MUW reader Karen). TaROO is hosting a “Mom’s Night Out” this evening, featuring wine, champagne, food, and complementary makeovers.

Potentially great deal from Arte Around The Corner (274 Columbus, between 72nd/73rd) today — four glasses of wine and an appetizer for only $29 (normally $60), plus you get another 10% off any additional food or drink you might order that night.

Bacchus Wines (2056 Broadway, between 70th/71st) sent out an e-mail blast yesterday announcing they’ve lost their lease and are closing next week (I’ve heard Wednesday will be their final day). Until then, they’re having a blowout sale on all their wine, spirits, Riedel Crystal wine glasses/decanters, and accessories.
