It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas…

It’s getting to be that time of year again, which means the massive annual holiday market at Columbus Circle is now open.

columbus-1-1The market officially opened yesterday and will run through December 24th. Hours are 10 am – 8 pm, Monday through Saturday, and 10 am – 7 pm on Sunday. It’s located by Merchant’s Gate, at the intersection of Central Park West, Central Park South, and Columbus Circle.

You can view the market’s official page here. You can download a printable guide here.

Now in its 7th year, the market features more than 100 vendors selling a wide array of goods from gingerbread houses and french truffles to handcrafted home accessories and gourmet food.

The booths are designed in the tradition of European holiday markets — even if you don’t buy anything, simply strolling through with a cup of hot cider is an event unto itself.
