Mentioned last Monday that reservations were being taken for 2012 Summer Restaurant Week.

Just a reminder that the actual eating begins today.

Now in its 20th year, the event is somewhat misnamed — it runs four weeks, not just one.

Hundreds of restaurants around New York City are participating, including the more than two dozen Upper West Side establishments listed below.

Unless otherwise noted, these restaurants are offering their Restaurant Week menus for both lunch ($24.07) and dinner ($35.00) every day except Saturday.

Some restaurants have posted their menu offerings — I’ve included links to those that are available.
