A 70-year-old man had a close call at an Upper West Side subway station, according to AM New York. The man reportedly fell onto the tracks of the 1 train at the 103rd Street station around 10:00 am yesterday. He was pulled out of harm’s way before the train came, however, and was treated at St. Luke’s Hospital for a few bumps and bruises. The subway service was briefly suspended, but resumed after about 45 minutes.
