Activities at the Central Park Zoo
The Central Park Zoo (near E 64th) offers some fun activities every day, helping make your zoo trip well worth it. Throughout each day, there are feedings and presentations with the sea lions, penguins, and harbor seals, along with wildlife chats and wildlife theater shows. You can watch Herbie and Nikki the sea lions show off their tricks such as “give flipper” and “stay,” hear wildlife guides discuss red pandas and polar bears, or even enjoy a great nature-themed musical show, all included in the $5-$10 zoo admission fee. Harbor Seal Feeding and Presentation, 11:45 am, 2:15 pm, and 4:15 pm
Penguin Feeding and Presentation, 10:30 am and 2:30 pm
Sea Lion Feeding and Presentation, 11:30 am, 2:00 pm, and 4:00 pm
Wildlife Chats, times posted at zoo entrance daily
Wildlife Theater, 11:00 am to 4:00 pm (weekends only)
