People who are into Apple often get way into Apple, as evidenced by the dozens of Apple blogs and fan sites that get worked up into a frenzy at the latest Steve Jobs news or i-Whatever announcement.  Well, the newest Manhattan Apple store, an Upper West Side outlet currently under construction at Broadway and 67th, has been on the radar of the Apple fans and followers, and the latest store progress update further proves how excited Apple can make people.  The above photo, courtesy of AppleInsider, captures an aerial view of the $37.9 million building, which has been shielded by temporary walls since the construction began.  The photo was taken with a remote control helicopter, and shows a unique and spectacular roof that will cover the rear three quarters of the store.  If you are eagerly anticipating the store’s opening, you won’t have to wait much longer… Gothamist reports that Apple’s Q4 conference call contained an announcement that the store will open in November.
