Air Force Week kicked off yesterday, with Air Force demonstrations, events, and celebrations of its members continuing through Friday.  To help get the festivities going, the Air Force did a six-ship flyover around Manhattan (including the Upper West Side) yesterday morning as opening ceremonies took place at the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum (Hudson River at 46th).  The week continues today with another flyover… this time, an HH-60 Pave Hawk helicopter will fly to the Intrepid, landing around 11:00 am to be on display, and will take off around 4:00 pm.  Keep your eyes on the sky this morning to check out the aircraft, or head to the Intrepid to get an up-close view.
