Alec Baldwin “Completely Fine” After Alleged OD Scare in His CPW Apartment

alec-baldwin Actor and Upper West Sider Alec Baldwin was rushed to the hospital from his Central Park West apartment early this morning after his 14-year-old daughter allegedly found him unresponsive and called 911. Medics arrived to his apartment around midnight and took him, allegedly awake, to Lenox Hill Hospital, where he was observed for about an hour and released. While some reports indicate that Baldwin had tried to (or threatened to) take an overdose of pills, a statement from the actor’s spokesman this morning calls the incident “a misunderstanding on one person’s part.” The statement later reads, “he’s completely fine and will be back at work today.” [Source: Gothamist, New York Post]
