Atrium Reopens Thursday for Free Performance
Now that the renovations on the David Rubenstein Atrium (Broadway between 62nd and 63rd) are finally complete, the space is opening up each Thursday before its official daily opening on December 17th. Target Free Thursdays started a few weeks ago and will continue with free public performances each Thursday at 8:30 pm. This week’s performance features ZigZag Quartet, a group with a vast musical palette spanning three centuries, from the Baroque to jazz and Latin American music, in addition to their own arrangements and works written especially for the quartet. If you have not yet caught a glimpse of the modern, multimillion-dollar renovation of the space, or if you are looking for a fun free Thursday evening, stop by the atrium and check it out.
