The Black Eyed Peas are reportedly planning a massive summer concert in Central Park. The New York Post reports that the Peas, comprised of will.i.am, apl.de.ap, Taboo, and Fergie, plan to do a charity concert on The Great Lawn (mid-park, near 83rd) on Thursday, June 9th. “The concert has been set up with Mayor Bloomberg’s office,” says a source. “They want it to rival the concert that Simon & Garfunkel did in Central Park.” Stay tuned for details.
