Another Celeb Flees the UWS for the 50’s
Last week, we reported on New York Rangers goalie Henrik Lundqvist selling his Upper West Side apartment to relocate to The Link (52nd between 8th and 9th). Now, New York reports on the Upper West Side’s loss of another celebrity. Tracy Morgan, the over-the-top star of 30 Rock, is reportedly joining Lundqvist in the West 50’s after leaving his Trump Place home on Riverside Boulevard. Morgan made headlines in February when his Trump Place apartment caught fire due to a blown light bulb in his fish tank, forcing neighbors including Sherri Shepherd to evacuate. While the New York article does not indicate the exact location of his new rental home in the West 50’s, a little investigation leads us to believe it is this four-bedroom stunner in The Hit Factory (54th between 9th and 10th), featuring a 1,000 square foot terrace and over 3,600 square feet total. We’ll miss you, Tracy (even if your old Trump Place neighbors won’t).
