Upper West Sider Alec Baldwin was spotted earlier this week, walking near 84th Street on Tuesday afternoon, according to My Upper West tipster @LizzyBells.  Other Twitter celebrity sightings in the neighborhood included actor John Malkovich, who was spotted by @einatshaul in Columbus Circle on Tuesday, and music legend Paul Simon, who was spotted by @obviate on Tuesday on the street, talking to two people.  It is possible that Simon is in the ‘hood to work on the limited engagement of his play The Capeman, playing for free at Central Park’s Delacorte Theater (near 81st) from August 14th to August 16th.
