Charity Wine Tasting for Haiti

winesCome to Bacchus (Broadway between 70th and 71st) on Thursday for a special wine tasting to help raise funds for Partners in Health, an organization that brings modern medical care to poor communities in nine countries around the world including Haiti.  This tasting of reds, whites, and sparklers from around the world will feature a wide array of wines, from the classic, full-bodied reds like Cabernet to whites made from lesser-known varietals, sure to be delicious and special.   Guests will also be able to sample a wonderful spread of fresh cheese and crudité to accompany the wines served during the evening.  The $35 fee includes the wine and hors d’oeuvres, along with a beautiful Riedel crystal stem from which to taste and take home at the end of the night, and $10 of the ticket sale goes directly to Partners in Health.   Purchase your tickets soon, and toast for a great cause.
