Coming Soon: LUCKYRICE Festival

LUCKYRICE.com is a website devoted to the Asian culinary world, and from April 29th to May 2nd, they are putting on the LUCKYRICE Festival, a celebration of all things Asian and edible. Enjoy a delicious series of events from tastings to cocktail parties to full-on feasts. The Upper West Side is home to a couple of the events, with the Mandarin Oriental (60th and Columbus) the location of the “Grand Feast of Asian Flavors” and the “Afternoon Tea and Asian Dessert Pairing.” The former event will be held at the hotel on Saturday, May 1st, with host Lisa Ling helping celebrate diverse Asian cuisine from premier chefs and with open sake bars and Asian cocktail bars. The latter event takes place at the hotel’s 36th floor Lotus Lounge and includes an intimate, multi-course seated dessert tasting and tea pairing for just 50 lucky guests, hosted by Pastry Chef Pichet Ong.
