More sad neighborhood news on the heels of this morning’s post.
A construction worker at The Church Of St. Paul The Apostle (Columbus & 60th) fell to his death on Thursday. He had been working in an “attic-like space” 125 feet above the cathedral floor.
DNAinfo has the details on the accident. The man had been working on repairing the church’s ceiling for the past two years and was believed to be in his early 30s.
FDNY officials were investigating the cause of the fall, noting that there had been “reports of an electrical problem.”
