05_Flatbed_WEB - JULYThe Upper West Side’s most talked-about luxury rental building that has recently opened, The Corner at 200 West (Broadway at 72nd), is almost completely rented, according to a press release.  As of Tuesday, only three apartments remained unrented in the building, which includes ultra-luxurious amenities like a 10,000-square-foot rooftop terrace with jaw-dropping views, an open-air fireplace, a 12-foot misting wall, and adjacent wet bar to the chandelier, along with a travertine and limestone-clad lobby leading to a glass corridor on the way to the elevators.  Of the three remaining homes, one is a three-bedroom, 2.5 bath home with a “sprawling gourmet chef’s kitchen complete with an oversize island with seating for up to five, a built-in pantry, 36″ Liebherr refrigerator and wine cooler, in addition to a four-piece master bath with his and her sinks as well as a home office space that can alternatively be used as a children’s play area.”  The other two residences are convertible three-bedrooms with two baths that include “an open L-shaped kitchen with a French-door refrigerator, a generous walk-in closet and a great room with a unique corner view down Broadway as well as separate dining area.”  All of the remaining residences at The Corner also offer personal recessed safes in the master bedroom, while every apartment in the building comes with its own Bosch washer and dryer.  Other building amenities include a 24/7 personal concierge service and doorman, on-site valet services for dry cleaning and housekeeping, bicycle and cold storage, and an option to be a part of “The Corner Club” which features a third floor leisure terrace, tenant lounge with daily breakfast on weekdays and a fitness center.  Of course, renting a larger unit in The Corner doesn’t come cheap… pricing for three bedroom homes start at $14,500.  Wow.  Those lucky/skilled (or should we just say, rich) enough to have serious interest in one of the remaining units can call the leasing office 212.721.1200 to schedule a viewing of a furnished model.
