Courtney Love to Appear with Hole for Documentary Debut
Courtney Love is reuniting with the band that made her a household name, Hole, this week for a special film event. The New York Post reports that the band is appearing for the first time in public together in 13 years for a Q&A after a screening of Hit So Hard at MoMA (53rd between 5th and 6th). The documentary is reportedly an “unprecedented inside look at one of the 1990s’ most crucial and controversial groups,” and Love will sit alongside fellow band members Eric Erlandson, Melissa auf der Maur, and Patty Schemel to discuss their drama-filled history. The film takes to the Upper West Side later this week, screening at Walter Reade Theater (65th between Broadway and Amsterdam, upper level) as part of the New Directors/New Films festival. Catch the documentary (sans the in-person appearances by Hole but with an appearance by director P. David Ebersole) on Wednesday at 9:00 pm.
