A Catholic school teacher pleaded guilty this week to using video cameras to peep in city pool locker rooms, reports The New York Post.  Tom David Canela, 33, admitted to installing cameras and peeping in the girls’ locker rooms at his part-time lifeguard jobs, Midtown’s Vanderbilt YMCA Pool (47th between 2nd and 3rd) and Central Park’s Lasker Pool (mid-park between 106th and 108th), last summer.  He faces anywhere from probation to a year in jail, to be determined at his October 8th sentencing.  Canela was fired from his job as chairman of modern languages at the all-girls St. Jean Baptiste High School after his arrest.
