The New York Post reports that a carriage horse driver was busted recently for downing a few… right on Central Park South. Saverio Colarusso, 49, was spotted by officers swigging from a bottle of Michelob Light on the southern border of Central Park on January 5th, according to a representative of the ASPCA. He told the officers he’d had two beers with lunch and handed them the empty bottles. Colarusso was charged with operating a carriage under the influence of liquor, which came with a $175 fine and a 30-day suspension from his job. Another reminder to abstain from drinking and driving, regardless of the vehicle.
