Dry Day Forecasted in NYC Today, Except for the Central Park Blizzard

The New York City Parks Department is preparing for Winter Jam NYC, the annual festival that brings fun snowy winter sports to Manhattan. Winter Jam, taking place in Central Park on Saturday, February 6th from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm, will offer awesome activities from Rail Jam (allowing you to bring your snowboard and ride the rails) to ski and snowboard lessons to snowshoeing to a winter market with free food and drink samples. Today, the Parks Department is preparing for Winter Jam by creating tons of artificial snow right here in Central Park (mid-park, near the Bandshell and Mall at 70th).
