It may be too small to see in the pictures, but Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close is filming at two different UWS spots today.

From 12 – 9 pm, the production will be in the vicinity of 109th & Broadway. From 8 pm to 5 am Friday morning, shooting will be in the area around Broadway & 72nd.

I don’t have the slightest clue as to what they’ll be filming or who will be on set, but the movie has some genuine A-listers. The big names include Tom Hanks, Sandra Bullock, John Goodman, and James Gandolfini. The cast also includes excellent character actors Max von Sydow and Jeffrey Wright.

If you’re into this sort of thing, there could be some great people watching. Then again, you might just see some pimple-faced PA drinking coffee, mooching off the craft services spread, and feeling overly confident about himself.
