jazz-pianoThere’s always some great free music to enjoy on the Upper West Side… here’s a few options for free music this week.  First, Target Free Thursdays at David Rubenstein Atrium continues tomorrow with Hector Del Curto’s Eternal Tango Quartet.  Come to the atrium (Broadway between 62nd and 63rd) to tango to this acclaimed Argentine bandoneónist as he revives the golden age of tango with his virtuoso Eternal Tango Quartet.  If you are in a jazz mood tomorrow, come to the Empire Hotel lobby (63rd at Columbus) to enjoy free jazz this and every Thursday.  A complimentary cocktail is offered with the great jazz music in the lobby bar each Thursday from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.  Head uptown on Friday to experience Whole Foods Columbus Square’s (Columbus at 97th) Jazz Legend Winter Series.  This week, the Cecil Morgan Blues Band plays to bring local neighborhood spirit while you savor Sugar Hill Beer.  These are just a few of the many ways to listen to great music in our neighborhood, so get out and enjoy!
