Enter the Lottery to Go Camping in Central Park!
Don't worry... they will give you a tent.
The Urban Park Rangers are offering a unique opportunity on select dates this summer where you can take a camping trip in Central Park. On the first Saturday of the month in June, July, and August, 30 lucky campers will be provided tents and food and will be able to camp in the park (sleeping bags not provided). A lottery will take place prior to each camping event to determine the campers. The first lottery takes place this Wednesday, May 26th for the first camping excursion on Saturday, June 5th. Enter at the registration site or call 212.628.2345 anytime throughout the day on Wednesday for the lottery, which selects the campers at random on Thursday.
