An Evening with Jonathan Demme and Neil Young Trunk Show
The Film Society of Lincoln Center presents a very special evening this weekend featuring legendary filmmaker Jonathan Demme in person. Come to the Walter Reade Theater (65th between Broadway and Amsterdam, upper level) Friday for “An Evening with Jonathan Demme and Neil Young Trunk Show.” Enjoy a screening of Demme’s Neil Young Trunk Show, a spontaneous and raw time capsule that was shot during two nights of Young’s Chrome Dreams II tour at the Tower Theater in Pennsylvania. The film captures Neil Young in his natural element: unleashed, unrestrained, uninhibited, and very loud. Director Jonathan Demme himself will join the audience for the screening and take part in a discussion. If that isn’t enough, there will also be an open bar during the screening.
