Film Society of Lincoln Center Series: Scary Movies
The Film Society of Lincoln Center is screening a series of classic scary movies through October 22nd at Walter Reade Theater (65th between Broadway and Amsterdam). You can celebrate Halloween month by coming out to catch scary flicks like Night of the Living Dead, The Brood, and Candyman. In addition to the series of horror classics, there will be some fantastic guest appearances from producers to writers to directors. One such special appearance will take place tomorrow night, when John Landis, director of An American Werewolf in London, will be on hand to discuss the making of the film after the screening. While individual screening tickets are $7-$11, you can pick up a five-title series pass for only $30-$45, so scary movie fans will be sure to get their fix.
