Fire Breaks Out At Upper West Side Georgia’s Cafe & Bakery (Broadway & 89th); Three People Injured

A fire broke out early this morning at Upper West Side restaurant Georgia’s Cafe & Bakery (2418 Broadway, at 89th).
DNAinfo has the details and more photos.
FDNY was called to the scene around 12:50 am and had the blaze under control by about 1:35 am.
Residents were forced to evacuate the building. Three people suffered smoke inhalation and were taken to Mt. Sinai.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
