If you have been by to see the sprawling megadevelopment known as “Columbus Village” at 808 Columbus Avenue (from 97th to 100th), then you may know that UWSers are getting a second Whole Foods Market at the location, uptown from the very hectic Columbus Circle Whole Foods.  Now there is a very official-looking sign announcing the grand opening of the Columbus Village Whole Foods: August 27th.  It will be a nice relief to the Columbus Circle Whole Foods shoppers, as well as a good stop for those organic shoppers dwelling up the street, so we have little doubt that this is good news to many!
